Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing when users can share pictures and videos. It's a social network as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. Users can apply digital filters to their images. Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger in October 2010. In 2012 Instagram had over 100 million users. The service was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for Us $1 billion in cash. It began development in San Francisco. In January 2011 Instagram added hashtags to help users discover photographs.
