  • USA AND UK 
When someone from North America or UK count numbers on their hand it starts with the extension of the index finger and continues to the little finger. The number 5 is then represented by extending all the fingers and thumb.
  • GERMANY, ITALY, SPAIN, FRANCE
When Europeans count numbers on their hands the thumb represent the number one, and the index finger is the number two and so on and so forth.
  • CHINA
Chinese count numbers in exactly the same as the UK and North America, but counting from 6 to 19 gets kind of funky! Six with the thumb and last finger.
  • JAPAN
In Japan count numbers up to 5 on one hand is the same as the UK and USA. But the number 7, they place their index and middle finger against their open palm.

It's available only in 10 select countries. Apple also unveiled three new iPhones: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the X. The new charateristic is the face ID: the ability of the phone to recognise its owner's face and unlock.

A van ploughed into crowds on Barcelona Spain's popular tourist street, Las Ramblas, on Thursday. Spanish police say several people have been injured and two people dead. El Pais newspaper is reporting that the perpetrators are holed up in a local bar. The street is one of the most popular tourist destination in the city.

  • The "come here", in Canada, USA, UK and Australia is used to motion somebody to come over. In Philippines is considered highly offensive when motioned to another person (reserved for dogs).
  • The first and elbow in Mexico and South America mean stingy. In Australia and Germany indicates that the recipient is an idiot and their brain is in their.
  • The thumb in a first in Australia, UK and Canada is used by adults towards children, pretending to have stolen a child's nose. In Morocco it's seen as aggressive and rude.

The USA said its relation with North Korea have changed. The US has tried and North Korea's nuclear weapons testing. Donald Trump promised he would stop the testing. Since 1992, the US has tried to keep North Korea free of nuclear weapons. Trump said: "All options are on the table". This inclused attacking North Korea. North Korea missiles will soon be able to hit America. North Korea said: "We'll be doing more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis". It added an "all-out war" would happen if the USA attacked. It said "the US was disturbing global peace". It also said the USA was like a gangster.

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger in October 2010. In 2012 Instagram had over 100 million users. The service was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for Us $1 billion in cash. It began development in San Francisco. In January 2011 Instagram added hashtags to help users discover photographs.

The government of Venezuela has seized 4 million children's toys from a toy distributor. 
It will give the toys to children for free time for Christmas.Only richest people could buy them because Venezuela has one of the most highest rates of inflation in the world.
The government says: "Our children are sacred; boys and girls of this country will have a happy Christmas".

BARACK OBAMA

Born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Barack Obama is the 44th and current president of the United States. He was a community organizer, civil-rights lawyer and teacher before pursuing a political career. He was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996 and to the U.S. Senate in 2004. He was elected to the U.S. presidency in 2008, and won re-election in 2012 against Republican challenger Mitt Romney. He's the first African American to be elected to that office.
