ROBERT BURNS 




Robert Burns was born in 25 January of 1759 in the village of Alloway, Scotland. He was a Scottish poet, lyricist, farmer and exciseman. He's best know of the poets who have written in the Scots language or Scots dialect. His poems and songs are: "A Red, Red Rose", "A Man's a man for A' That", "Auld Lang Syne". "To a Mouse", "Scots Wha Hae", "Halloween" and other poems and song.. He is regarded as a pioneer of the Romantic movement, and after his death he became a great source of inspiration to the founders of both liberalism and socialism. Robert Burns is considered one the most famous characters of Scotlan's cultural history. He's died in 21 July of 1796 in Dumfries, Scotland.
